Lex Mundi network bolstered in Poland

Polish independent Wardynski & Partners has become Poland's sole representative in the Lex Mundi network. The 19-partner Wardynski has offices in Warsaw, Poznaƒ and Brussels and specialises in project financing, corporate M&A and taxation. Wardynski senior partner Pawel Ciecwierz said: "Our membership with Lex Mundi is an opportunity for our firm to cooperate even closer with renowned law firms across the globe. BT acquires Poland's Telexis Polska for around 1.2 mln eur

T Group, the UK's incumbent telecoms operator, said it had agreed to buy Telexis Polska, Fiat's Polish communications business, for around 1.2 mln eur.

The deal is part of a 450 mln eur outsourcing deal between the British company and the Italian car giant, under which BT will be Fiat's main supplier of networking and telecoms services for the next five years.

In March, BT completed the takeover of Fiat's telecommunications unit Atlanet for 80 mln eur.
