It seems that Poles are drinking not only their famous Vodka. According to the hot weather this year in Poland, the biggest Polish breweries have announced 4,5% higher sales in the first half of the 2005. Poland is already 5th biggest producer of beer in Europe. The leader on the Polish market are Kompania Piwowarska (SAB/Miller) and Grupa Zywiec (Heineken). Last year statistincal Pole has drunk 75 l of beer. The market is still growing, and we believe that in two-three years Poland will join European mediane with 85 l of beer per head.

If you would like to drink some good Polish beer, the best place for it should be Cracow.
