India, Poland business organizations sign MoU

Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ SA) on Monday signed an MoU aimed at facilitating cooperation between Polish and Indian enterprises.

The MoU, signed by FICCI Secretary General Dr. Amit Mitra and PAIiIZ SA President Andrzej Kanthak here on Monday, will seek to promote investment, supply information to potential business partners, partner search and services for the investment projects and offer specialized services and joint actions by way specific programs, organization of events or providing consultancy services to individual enterprises.

PAIiIZ SA promotes Poland's investment opportunities and to encourage foreign companies to choose Poland as their preferred investment location. It acts as an intermediary, servicing corporate foreign investors, PAIiIZ SA offers foreign companies services related to investment project, its know-how and helps them establish contacts with government bodies and the business community.

Earlier, FICCI and PAIiIZ held a seminar in 'Indo Polish cooperation and Investment Opportunities'.

A three-day exhibition 'Designed in Poland', was opened at Federation House here. The exhibition, prepared in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi and local authorities, presents Polish products designed by companies and individual artist from Poland.

Industrial design is not only a medium of aesthetic values, but also allows for promotion of symbols, signs and traditions that create the identity of countries and nations. It helps to identify products with their home country. This is an important incentive for current and future trade exchange.
