IAN PEARSON TO VISIT POLAND

British Minister for Trade, Investment and Foreign Affairs, Ian Pearson MP, will visit Poland on
19 September.
Mr. Pearson gave a speech at the annual OSCE meeting on human rights in Warsaw on 19 September. The focus was on the importance of promoting democracy, rule of law and good governance in OSCE participating states. He highlighted the need to meet international standards in both the upcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan and the presidential elections in Kazakhstan later this year.
