Poland sells 800 mln zlotys of 52-week bills at primary tender - ministry

WARSAW (Thomson Financial) - Polish finance ministry sold 800 mln zlotys of its 52-week treasury bills at a primary tender today, the ministry said in a statement. The demand reached 1.108 bln zlotys.

The ministry said the minimum price paid for the bills at tender was 9,528.87 zlotys with the average yield at 4.816 pct.

The finance ministry also said it would offer 2.0 bln zlotys of bonds maturing in 2018 at a tender on Wednesday, but would not offer the inflation-linked paper maturing in 2016.
