Poland eyes strategic investor for airline LOT-paper

Poland plans to sell a stake in troubled state-controlled airline LOT [LOT.UL] to a strategic investor after floating the carrier on the Warsaw bourse, the treasury minister was quoted as saying on Monday.

Poland is seeking to float LOT this year after reaching an agreement with the bankruptcy administrator of Swissair to sell its 25 percent holding, left over from an unsuccessful privatisation effort in 1999.
