Modis International opens office in Poland

Modis International's newest office in Krakow is its 13th in Europe. Alf Davis, the director of Modis International's projects division, said the demand for staffing services is strong in Poland, especially permanent hiring and the outsourcing of recruitment services.

"We have been serving clients in Poland from our neighboring branches for several years," Davis said. "With its economy growing faster than Western Europe, Poland is a great market for further expansion."

Jacksonville-based MPS Group Inc. (NYSE: MPS) provides staffing and consulting in a variety of fields, including information technology, finance and accounting, law, engineering and health care.
